Ramses A. Wessel is Professor of International and European Law and Governance and Director of the Centre for European Studies at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. He is also a guest professor at the Leiden Law School. His additional functions include: President of the standing Advisory Committee on Issues of Public International Law (CAVV) of the Netherlands’ government; Editor-in-Chief and founder of the International Organizations Law Review (IOLR); Editor-in-Chief of the Netherlands Yearbook of International Law (NYIL); and member of the Editorial Boards of of European Papers; Europe and the World: A Law Review; Nijhoff Studies in European Union Law; and the CLEER Papers series. Ramses Wessel is co-convenor of the ESIL IG The EU as a Global Actor and published on a wide range of issues of international and EU institutional law.
