Biography: 
Associate Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her undergraduate studies in the same University (1983) and her graduate studies at the University of Paris-II Panthéon-Assas (DEA, 1984; Doctorat d'Etat, 1992). She has been Visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law (1998), Visiting Professor at the Universities of Bordeaux, Paris-I, Paris-II, Director of Studies at the Hague Academy of International Law (French section, 2003), and has lectured in various universities and institutions. Member, Greek delegation to the UNGA Sixth Committee (1999-2007), Member of the Hellenic National Committee for the Implementation of IHL, Member of the Hellenic Council on Citizenship, Member of the OSCE Court of Conciliation and Arbitration. Was recently elected Member of the Human Rights Committee ICCPR (as of January 2015). President of the Hellenic Branch of the International Law Association. Has published in various fields of international law, including international dispute settlement, international criminal law, judicial institutions and procedure.
