The African Society of International Law (AfSIL) is pleased to invite you to submit your contributions to its eleventh annual conference which will take place in Cairo, Egypt on 28 and 29 October 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is “Africa and the Challenge of Climate Change“.

Climate Change is engaging legal actors and institutions from virtually every sector. The Conference will explore concerns, practical challenges, as well as solutions and efforts to tackle climate change in Africa. It aims to bring together prominent academics, policymakers, practitioners, jurists, and experts to explore the issue of Climate Change as it relates to various fields of international law with the goal of understanding both the magnitude of the challenges and the opportunities we must seize before it is too late.
