Call for Papers | Conference on “Human Rights in Migration Societies” (Justus Liebig University Giessen)
The Research Group “Human Rights Discourse in Migration Societies” (MeDiMi) funded by the German Research Foundation invites researchers at all career stages and of all backgrounds to the contribute to the conference “Human Rights in Migration Societies: Exploring the Intersection of Human Rights and Migration in Law, Politics, and Everyday Life”. The conference will be held on 18–20 September 2024 at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany. It aims to illuminate the interwoven processes of legalization, politicization, and everyday practice of human rights in migration societies. Contributions can come from people working in legal studies, the social sciences or the humanities. The deadline for submitting proposals is 31 January 2024. For details, please see here.
