The Kalliopi Koufa Foundation for the Promotion of International Law and Human Rights organizes the 7th session of the Thessaloniki Summer Courses on International Law and Human Rights from 28 June to 7 July 2022, on the topic of “Climate Change and International Law”.

The summer course will be held in a hybrid format, giving the opportunity for either in person or online attendance, in compliance with the current COVID-19 protocols. The Faculty of this 10-day intensive course includes: Laurence Boisson de Chazournes (University of Geneva); Lavanya Rajamani (University of Oxford); Christina Voigt (University of Oslo; Paris Agreement’s Compliance and Implementation Committee); Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger (University of Waterloo & University of Cambridge); Emmanuella Doussis (UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy, University of Athens); Maria Gavouneli (University of Athens); Markus Gehring (Jean Monnet Chair in Sustainable Development Law, University of Cambridge); Ioanna Hadjiyannni (University of Cyprus); Alexandra Harrington (Center for International Sustainable Development, University of Albany); Costas Kartalis (University of Athens); Sandrine Maljean-Dubois (Centre national de la recherche scientifique; Aix-Marseille University); Nilufer Oral (International Law Commission; Center for International Law, National University of Singapore); Ilias Plakokefalos (Athens PIL Center); Ioli Christopoulou (The Green Tank). The Foundation is working actively to make sure that all members of the Summer Courses faculty will give their lectures in person.
