The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is pleased to announce its upcoming 2024 FAO Law Lecture: Right to Foods – Legal Considerations for a Better Life and a Better Future”. It will be delivered by Hon. Hassan Bubacar Jallow, an eminent jurist who will speak on the theme: “Ensuring Food Security through Legal Frameworks and International Cooperation: Protecting Food Systems and Realising the Right to Foods”, on Wednesday 23 October 2024 at 15:30 CEST.

As part of the celebrations for the 2024 #WorldFoodDay — with the theme “Right to Foods for a Better Life and a Better Future” — this lecture will explore the vital role of international and national legal frameworks and international cooperation in securing access to diverse nutritious foods; a goal for all Nations and their peoples.
