On 26 September 2013 Bogdan Aurescu, the Romanian State Secretary for Strategic Affairs, met Laurence Boisson de Chazournes, the ESIL President; they had a fruitful discussion about international law in general and about international law in Romania. The ESIL President was in Bucharest for the first international law symposium organized in Romania with support from ESIL, on the subject of “Perspectives on International Law and Domestic Law”, held at the Library of the Romanian Academy.
