The American Branch of the International Law Association (ABILA) celebrates its 100th anniversary on 27 January 2022. International law has been transformed over the past century, yet challenges remain that demand international cooperation and law, including climate change, economic inequality, pandemics, and ongoing armed conflict. The American Branch is proud that its members include so many individuals working tirelessly on these and other issues across many disciplines and continents.

The celebration will kick off with a virtual event on 27 January 27, 2022 at 11:30 am – 12:30 pm EST.

This event includes remarks from several prominent American Branch and ILA leaders, including ILA Chair Christine Chinkin and ILA President Shunji Yanai.
