Is a Professor of Law at Freie Universität Berlin where he teaches public and international law. He is also an Associate Fellow of the German Council on Foreign Relations.
Giulio Bartolini
Full professor of international law at Roma Tre University, where he is also Director of the IHL Legal Clinic, and lecturer at the Geneva Academy. Director Centre for Studies and Research/Hague Academy (2024).
Edouard Fromageau
Edouard Fromageau is a Senior Lecturer in International Economic Law at the School of Law of the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
Machiko Kanetake
Machiko Kanetake is an Associate Professor in Public International Law at Utrecht University. She is the Director of the Master’s Programme in Public International Law in Utrecht. Her research interests lie at the intersection of security and human rights.
Patryk Labuda
Patryk Labuda is an assistant professor of international law and international relations at Central European University and a researcher on the ‘Memocracy’ project at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Sarah Nouwen
Sarah Nouwen is a Professor of Public International Law at the European University Institute. She is on leave from the University of Cambridge, where she is a Professor in Public International Law and was for many years Co-Deputy Director of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law and Fellow of Pembroke College.

is Associate Professor in Law and Derek Bowett Fellow at Queens’ College, Cambridge, and fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law.

Silvia Steininger is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hertie School’s Centre for Fundamental Rights Berlin and a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law Heidelberg.
Le Comité Executive de la Société est composé du Président, des trois vice-présidents, et du Secrétaire général, avec l’assistance administrative du personnel du secrétariat de la SEDI.
Conformément à l’article 14 des statuts, les membres suivants ont été cooptés au conseil d’administration : Sarah Nouwen est cooptée en tant que personne responsable de la liaison avec l’Institut universitaire européen et Helmut Aust est coopté en tant qu’organisateur local de la conférence annuelle qui se tiendra à Berlin en septembre 2025.
