Prospective students still have the possibility to apply for the postgraduate Master’s Program “European and International Law” at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University. Late applications for the academic year 2013/2014 may be accepted until 30 September.

We invite you to attend our one-year Master’s Program “European and International Law”, awarding the title Master of Laws (LL.M.) to its successful participants. There are four areas of specialization: European Economic Law, Foreign Trade and Investment, International Dispute Resolution and European Protection of Human Rights.

We enable you to complete the Master’s Program entirely in English, entirely in German or in a combination of these. The Master’s program consists of a unique mixture of lectures, seminars, interactive exercises, moot courts, language courses, communication skills training and discussions, and allows us to offer an optimal combination of theoretic knowledge and practical application.

In addition to professors teaching at Saarland University, the Europa-Institut hosts international guest professors and lecturers from an array of countries. Amongst them are top EU civil servants as well as inspiring personalities holding top positions in the judiciary sector, business realm, as well as from the administrative and political sector.

Moreover, regular excursions to various European Institutions form a natural and important part of the study program.

Since 1951, the Europa-Institut at Saarland University has prepared young law students from all over the world for their future careers by training them in European and International Law.
