The Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies – Leiden University will be the host of the ICC Moot Court Competition 2015. The Competition is set to take place from 17 until 22 May 2015 in The Hague, the Netherlands and is organized with the support of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

This year 57 university teams (appr. 350+ students) from 38 different countries worldwide will take part. A large number of the participating universities are from Non-Member States. The sheer volume of interest and diversity of support represents a growing commitment to international law and the ICC worldwide; the competition thus serves as a simple yet powerful instrument to cultivate this strong, youth-led interest and helps further cement the ICC’s future place in global affairs.

ESIL members interested in attending the Competition as a Bench Member, and/or being involved by evaluating memorials, should contact grotiuscentre@cdh.leidenuniv.nl.
