ABOUT THE EVENT

The event will bring together judges, scholars, and practitioners to examine the rapidly evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and international criminal justice, with particular attention to the use of AI in investigations, the implications for fair trial rights and due process, and broader ethical and regulatory questions shaping the future of international criminal law.

Through keynote interventions, thematic panels, and interdisciplinary discussion, the conference aims to foster critical reflection on how emerging technologies may transform evidentiary practices, judicial reasoning, and institutional design within international criminal proceedings.

Participation is online. Registration is required and open until 27 February 2026 until 23:59 CET*

*Following strong interest, registration is reopening with an increased cap. To allocate places as fairly as possible, and to support a diverse audience, registrations will be screened by the ICC in line with the applicable ICC standards.
