As well as annual conferences, ESIL also holds an annual Research Forum, a scholarly event which promotes engagement with research in progress by members of the Society who are early-career scholars.
Previous research fora have been held in Florence (2015), Istanbul (2016), Granada (2017), Jerusalem (2018), Göttingen (2019), Catania (2021), Glasgow (2022), Tartu (2023), and Nicosia (2024).
