Dr. Hab. Iur., Associate Professor, University of Warsaw. Her main research interests focus on International Humanitarian Law, International Criminal law, Use of Force and the role of international courts.

Giulio Bartolini
Professor of international law at Roma Tre University, where he is also Director of the IHL Legal Clinic, and lecturer at the Geneva Academy. Director Centre for Studies and Research/Hague Academy (2024).

Veronika Bílková
Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and Senior Researcher at the Institute of International Relations, Prague. Member of the Venice Commission (2010–2026) and expert on five fact-finding missions under the OSCE Moscow Mechanism (2022–2025). Elected member of the UN Human Rights Committee (2027–2030). Co-opted to the ESIL Board as local organiser of the 2028 Annual Conference in Prague.

Machiko Kanetake
Academic Director of the T.M.C. Asser Institute and a Professor of International Law and Security Governance at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Her research interests lie at the intersection of security and human rights.

Patryk I. Labuda
Assistant professor of international law and international relations at Central European University. He holds a PhD in international law from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and degrees in law and history from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Armando Rocha
Professor of Law at Católica|Lisbon School of Law and Invited Professor at the Université Catholique de Lille.

Silvia Steininger
Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hertie School’s Centre for Fundamental Rights Berlin and a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law Heidelberg.

Arnulf Becker Lorca
Chair in Public International Law at the European University Institute in Florence and visiting Professor at Harvard Law School. He has taught at King’s College London, Brown University, University of Helsinki and Amherst College, and received his doctoral degree from Harvard Law School.
