Members can apply for ESIL support of local events in the study and dissemination of international law, such as conferences, lectures and discussions.
This means that the ESIL name can be used in the announcement of the event. No financial support is possible.
The organizers must write to the ESIL Board (firstname.lastname@example.org) in good time before the event.
The Board will take into account the academic quality of the programme, geographical distribution of the locations, and the participation from various countries. At least one ESIL member should be involved in the programme.
The Secretariat will publish information about the event (call for papers, programme etc.) on the ESIL website and/or ESIL monthly Updates.
The organisers will be asked to use the ESIL logo in the programme and to distribute ESIL brochures during the event.
If the event is held online, the organisers will be asked to feature the ESIL logo and if recorded, to send the video to the Secretariat to be posted on the ESIL YouTube channel.
After the event, the organisers are encouraged to send a summary of the event to the Secretariat to be published in the ESIL quarterly Newsletter.
