“MONDIACULT and the Future of Cultural Policy: Cultural Rights in Global and Comparative Perspective“
10 March 2026, 14:00-15:30 U.S. Eastern Time (ET), online
ABOUT THE EVENT
How is culture being reframed as a public good—and what does that mean for cultural rights, cultural governance, and policy design in today’s global context?
Join the Cultural Heritage and the Arts Interest Group (ASIL) and the Interest Group on International Law of Culture (ESIL) for a timely discussion building on the MONDIACULT process (Mexico City 2022 & Barcelona 2025) to explore how cultural rights shape cultural policy at international, regional, and national levels—through comparative perspectives and in response to contemporary challenges around participation, diversity, and access to culture.
