Andre Nollkaemper is Dean and Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Amsterdam and President of the European Society of International Law, He is also Member of the Court, Permanent Court of International Arbitration; External Legal Advisor of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Netherlands; Member of the Institut de Droit International, and Member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Netherlands.
