Evelyne Schmid is an associate professor of public international law at the Centre for Comparative, European and International Law at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Evelyne holds a PhD from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, an MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of the University of Tufts and a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva. She has been a researcher and lecturer at the University of Basel and the University of Bangor in Wales and has worked for TRIAL International, the United States Institute of Peace, Amnesty and Transparency International.
