ESIL Early-Career Mentoring Program 2026-2027
The ESIL Early-Career Network Co-ordinating Committee, with the support of the ESIL Board, is delighted to announce a new edition of the ESIL Early-Career Mentoring Program for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The ESIL Early-Career Mentoring Program is organised in two tracks, corresponding to two crucial phases of career-building:
- Starting-out track
- Mentees are incoming PhD candidate or in the first year(s) of a PhD program;
- Mentors are advanced PhD candidates (final years) and postdoctoral researchers.
- Building-on track
- Mentees typically in the final year(s) of their PhD or in the first year after submission;
- Mentors are established academics or international law professionals.
We invite you to register and express your interest to participate as a mentor or a mentee by 12 October by responding to this questionnaire. You may find additional information about the program and what it entails in the questionnaire description.
Please feel free to share this information with colleagues in your institution that you think would like to participate. We particularly invite you to think about younger colleagues (just starting their PhDs or postdocs) who might benefit from this program.
