The FAO Legal Office invites ESIL members and the wider international legal community to the 2026 FAO International Law Day, taking place on 29 October 2026.
This year’s programme brings together the FAO Annual Law Lecture and an Open Day for Universities and Academic Institutions, with a particular focus on engaging students and members of the academic community.
The Annual Law Lecture, “FAO contribution to the development of international law: innovate today, nourish tomorrow”, will begin at 14:30 CET and will be delivered by H.E. Santiago Oñate Laborde, followed by a Q&A session. The Lecture will be held primarily online via Zoom.
