Call for Papers – 15th Brazilian Congress of International Law
The Brazilian Academy of International Law invites Professors, Researchers, Students and Professionals from the law and international relations fields to participate at the 15th Brazilian Congress of International Law (CBDI) and submit papers to be published at the Conference Proceedings as well as presented at the event.
Central theme : The International Law and its transdisciplinarity.
The Congress will take place in the city of Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, from 30 August to 2 September 2017, under the auspices of the Federal University of Santa Catarina and the University of São Paulo.
The CBDI has been held uninterrupted under the last fifteen years, always under the auspices of the most important research and college institutions in Brazil.The event is held every year in one of the Brazilians ́ States, having passed through Paraná (Curitiba and Foz do Iguaçu), São Paulo, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul and now arrives in Santa Catarina.
The event is the most important and expressive in the International Law field in Brazil and one of the largest law event in the World. In the Congress, the most important Brazilian internationalists and diplomatic authorities, foreign professors, as well as national professors, researchers and young students are exhibiting, having formed more than one generation of brilliant internationalists in the country, with impacts on international and national doctrine formation.
The article should address some aspect related to the deep dialogue of International Law with other branches of law and science, as well as some aspects of its effectiveness, as a result of a conceptual and axiological normative exchange. The author must seek elements that allow a conceptual encounter between International Law and other branches of law and science, demonstrating the transnational impact on the sources of interpretation, application and effectiveness.
The deadline for submissions of the papers is May 15, 2017.
