The Younger Comparativists Committee of the American Society of Comparative Law is pleased to invite submissions for the 6th Annual YCC Global Conference to be held on April 28-29, 2017, at Koç University Law School in Istanbul, Turkey. The purpose of the conference is to highlight, develop and promote the scholarship of new and younger comparativists.
Conference Subjet Matter and Eligibility
Submissions on any subjet in public or private comparative law are welcome, particularly in the areas of constitutionnal law, gender and law, tort law, insurance law, antitrus/competition law, corporate law, and finally in emerging areas such as online privacy, cyberspace regulation and online human rights protection. Eligible scholars may submit individual papers or propose fully formed panels.
Only individuals who have been engaged as law professors, lecturers, fellows, posts-docs, researcher associates, or in another academic capacity for nom more than ten years as of June 30, 2017, are eligible for individual submissions or as panel presenters. Graduate steudents enrolled in Masters or Doctoral programs are also eligible to submit proposals.
Sumission Instructions
To submit an individual paper or propose a fully formed panel, scholars must email an attachment in Microsoft Word or PDF containing an abstract of no more than 750 words no later than :           December 31, 2016 to the following address: ycc2017@ku.edu.tr
