Membership

Election Schedule

  • Gabriela A. Oanta was first elected in June 2018 for a four-year term and was re-elected in July 2022 for a second and final four-year term.
  • Irini Papanicolopulu was first elected in September 2020 for a two-year term and was subsequently re-elected in July 2022 for a full four-year term. In July 2026, her mandate was extended by a further two years for business continuity purposes, allowing her to complete the maximum period of service of eight years, equivalent to two consecutive four-year terms.
  • Efthymios Papastavridis was first elected in July 2022 for a two-year term and was subsequently re-elected in July 2042 for a full four-year term.
  • Andrea Longo was elected for a 4-year term in July 2024.
  • As the election 2026 resulted in a tie between two candidates, both Eduardo Jiménez Pineda and Dimitris Panousos were appointed in July 2026 to the Coordinating Committee. They will each serve a first four-year term as IG Conveners.
  • The next elections will be held in July 2028.
