Call for papers | ESIL – Católica Lisbon – Torino Joint Conference on “Climate Change Law & Litigation – States’ Obligations under International Law”

The European Society of International Law, together with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the University of Torino is organising a joint conference on “Climate Change Law & Litigation: States’ Obligations under International Law”. The event will take place on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The purpose of this conference is to assess States’ international obligations on the preservation of a healthy atmosphere and a stable climate, as well as their international obligations resulting from an unstable and unpredictable climate pattern.
