‘European Private International Law: Dialogue with Legal Practice’

The Spanish Association of International Law and International Relations Professors (AEPDIRI), together with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, will hold the 4th Seminar of the AEPDIRI on current issues in private international law, on January 24th, 2019, at the seat of the Madrid Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid, ICAM) (calle Serrano, 9-11 – 28001, Madrid). It is open to both the members of the Association and any interested parties.
The aim is to provide a forum where scholars and lawyers can discuss and analyze the issues and topics raised by the implementation of Spanish private international law solutions in general and its EU law instruments in particular.  The seminar will focus on both long-standing regulations and the implementation of more recent and innovative instruments.
Papers may address any subject relevant to the thematic areas of the different sessions within the specific approach of the Seminar, i.e., dialogue with legal practice.
The deadline for the submission of paper proposals is 30 November 2018.
