ABOUT THE EARLY-CAREER NETWORK
Launched in 2022, the ESIL Early‑Career Network aims to strengthen the involvement of emerging scholars and practitioners in international law and to foster collaboration across the ESIL community. The Co‑ordinating Committee plays a central role in advancing this mission by organising activities and representing early‑career members within ESIL’s institutional structures.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Committee members contribute to the coordination and development of the Network’s activities, including:
- organising in-person, hybrid, and online events
- supporting mentoring and career-development initiatives
- representing early-career interests within ESIL
- participating in ESIL flagship events
- strengthening outreach and engagement activities
Members also take part in shaping the future direction of ESIL in cooperation with the ESIL Board.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must fall in the category of early‑career ESIL members, meaning they are:
- enrolled in postgraduate studies in law, or
- within five years of completing their last degree
ESIL strongly encourages applications from candidates belonging to under‑represented groups.
TERMS
- 3 seats available
- 2‑year mandate (renewable for 1 additional year upon ESIL Board’s approva;)
