Training School | Understanding Contemporary Challenges in Protecting the Right to Life at Sea | Malta, 26-27 May 2026

About the event

The first BlueRights training school ‘Understanding Contemporary Challenges in Protecting the Right to Life at Sea’, organised together with the IMO International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI), will be held in Msida, Malta from 26-27 May 2026. This in-person training school focuses on early career researchers (PhD candidates and master students) who wish to learn about protecting the right to life at sea.

The training school is free for trainees and is open to (self-funded) participants who are BlueRights or non-BlueRights members. Some scholarships are available as well.
