IG Peace and Security | Discussing ‘The Use of Force against Individuals in War under International Law – A Social Ontological Approach’ by Dr Ka Lok Yip
The ESIL Interest Group on Peace and Security invite you to join Dr Ka Lok Yip in a discussion with Dr Noelle Quenivet and Dr Salvador Santino Regilme on the themes raised by her new monograph, ‘The Use of Force against Individuals in War under International Law – A Social Ontological Approach‘ (OUP 2022). The text undertakes an interdisciplinary study of the different laws applicable in war, noting the limitations of legal techniques that seek to address these tensions and proposing a new approach that understands the law by reference to social ontology.
